08:42 pm: What I'm Spinning This Week

It's Blue Face Leicester that I bought off the internet. When it arrived and I saw the colors, I thought I had lost my mind -- just sort of a blob of color here and another blob there. But it spins up so so pretty! I'm hoping to knit a hat for my mother in law before she goes up to the big dog show, Westminster, in New York in February. I need to find a pattern....

08:45 pm: My Studio Is So Clean!!!

This is sad, but true. I spent a couple of hours each day last week, while I was home with the kids, cleaning my studio. It was a disaster and you couldn't even walk into it there was so much stuff crammed in and spilling out on the floors.

For the moment, it is a marvel of organization, down to it's labelled drawers. Ellie and I had room to sit on the floor tonight and spin while ollie ran around an played. I can see the sewing machine. (I can see all the tax stuff on my desk). Oh joy!
